2012-02-21 - “New visa rules concerning Eurovision – 2012 song contest” New rules of issuing visas to citizens of states-participants of “Eurovision-2012” song contest and stateless persons, permanently residing in those states, intending to travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the song contest In accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 10 February 2012 “On the facilitation of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons, travelling to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with “Eurovision-2012” song contest to be held in Baku”:
The citizens of the states-participants of “Eurovision-2012” song contest and stateless persons, permanently residing in those states, who intend to travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the contest, can obtain their visas at the sections of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. One of the following documents is considered to be the basis for issuing a visa: 1. An official invitation letter issued by the Organizing Committee of “Eurovision-2012” song contest; The above-mentioned persons can apply in the following period of time to obtain their visas: 1.
